The Australian tour Over

The Australian tour has comed to the end. If you remember my post from 2 days ago. I told you about Mary’s Fashion up to Day 5. Not Day 6 or 7. Well here you go:
Day 6
H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the launch of the campaign, SunSmart Summer 2011, at Parliament House in Melbourne, Australia. This campaign, which works closely with the Cancer Society in Australia, is dedicated to raising awareness and research regarding the dangers of the Sun and skin Cancer. Prior to the crown princess’s visit to the SunSmart Summer 2011 Campaign, she visited the Pakenham Springs Primary School to the delight of all: Dressed in a tan and green blouse and white skirt, the Princess accepted bouquets and sat in the front row at a school assembly of 700 students.’

Princess Mary of Denmark arrived in Broken Hill, NSW, Australia to learn more about the organization that provides medical as well as health services in remote regions of Australia.  Upon her arrival she was greeted by thousands of people cheering for the Australian-born crown princess.

Day 7

In the morning, the crown princely couple participated in a lunch with business leaders from Australia and the chairman of the Alannah and Madeleine Foundation. Later on in the evening, the future king and queen of Denmark attended the charity event, Starry Starry Night, held at the Crown Casino in Melbourne.  The purpose of this event is to raise money for the Alannah and Madeleine Foundation. Tomorrow, Crown Princess Mary heads to her hometown of Hobart, Tasmania for a mini-vacay.  While Crown Prince Frederik heads on over to Vietnam “… celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations…” between Denmark and Vietnam.

Day 8

Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik concluded their Victorian tour with several engagements for charity "The Alannah and Madeline Foundation". Crown Princess Mary is the international patron of the foundation, and she yesterday discussed cyberbullying at a luncheon for the charity.
