Like I posted today Prince Joachim had a bandage over his hand. Apparently, Joachim had surgery on his hand and fingers on March 12, 2013.
The Danish royal court said that it's "...a hereditary disorder and it is the same condition the Prince Consort suffered from which resulted in him also undergoing surgery as well. Prince Joachim’s surgery went well and he is doing well."
